Awaken the creative writer in you!

The Budding Writers’ Competition aims to attract young talents to showcase creative writings on various topics. The competition is open to anyone from the age of 5 – 16 years. The participants are categorized into various different groups and the winners will be awarded with attractive prizes at the upcoming Twins of Faith Family Festival. Selected essays will also be published in the Little Explorers’ Magazine.

Contest Rules:

  • All participants should choose only one topic from their allocated group. Only one entry per student allowed.
  • Participants are free to decide the style of writing; whether it be a short story, an opinion piece, or a descriptive essay.
  • Islamic references from the Qur’an and the Ahadith are encouraged, when using them please use the English translation.
  • Entries should not exceed the word limit specified for their age group
  • Participants must submit a title page including: Topic chosen, participant’s full name, age, address, phone number, and school.
  • All entries must be written in the English language and submitted electronically to bwc@twinsoffaith.com
  • Deadline for submission: 5pm on Friday November 4th, 2012
